Após um início de ano conturbado e última semana de frustrações, Róger Guedes finalmente voltou a ter motivos para sorrir. O atacante foi um dos principais personagens do empate em 2 a 2 do Atlético-MG com o Ferroviário-CE, marcando um dos gols que classificou o Galo para a próxima fase da competição.

Contratado no início da temporada, numa troca que envolveu o lateral Marcos Rocha com o Palmeiras, o jogador chegou até a ser titular no Campeonato Mineiro no início de 2018, mas acabou indo para o banco de reservas no decorrer da competição. Guedes, que voltou a jogar uma partida completa, falou à imprensa depois do jogo:

– Corri bastante. Estava precisando jogar 90 minutos novamente. Isso que estava me deixando chateado, de ter ido para o banco de reservas, que é uma coisa normal e eu não soube assimilar. Eu sou meio cabeça quente e acabo me estourando fácil. Mas estou melhorando com ajuda dos meus companheiros e da minha família. – comentou Roger Guedes.

Após nem ser relacionado para o confronto da Copa Sul-Americana, contra o San Lorenzo, o atacante saiu da partida de estreia contra o Vasco no Brasileirão como principal alvo da torcida, depois de errar um toque de calcanhar que acabou cedendo contra-ataque para o Cruz-Maltino culminando no pênalti sofrido por Rildo e convertido por Yago Pikachu. O atacante disse que chegou a chorar no vestiário após o erro.

– Fiquei bastante chateado. Acabei até chorando no vestiário, porque atleta nenhum quer errar, ainda mais em um momento que eu estava com a cabeça pesada na semana. O jogo estava 1 a 1 quando eu entrei e é muito difícil eu errar um passe daquele. Isso acontece, só quem está ali que pode errar. – falou o atacante, que complementou dizendo que se sente feliz em Belo Horizonte:

– Eu estou muito feliz aqui no Atlético-MG. É um clube maravilhoso, sempre falei isso. A imprensa que falou de eu sair, que estava mal com o grupo, mas não tem nada disso. Todo mundo sabe que eu sou um menino bom, garoto sensacional com todo mundo, mas algumas brigas minhas de cabeça quente que acabam sujando meu nome. Quem me conhece sabe a pessoa que eu sou – destacou o jovem de 21 anos.

O atacante, que chegou até a ser especulado fora do Galo para a sequência da temporada, finalizou comemorando o gol, que quebrou um jejum pessoal do jogador:

– Estava precisando disso. Essa semana fui à igreja e pedi muito para fazer gol. Deus me coroou com esse gol e estou muito feliz. Estou muito feliz de fazer o gol. Quero agradecer bastante os companheiros que me ajudaram nessa semana. Espero continuar assim daqui para frente. O lance contra o Vasco, qualquer um pode errar. Acho que o momento que eu estava passando, estava de cabeça quente. Acabou que fui culpado. É difícil errar um contra-ataque daquele. Estou de cabeça erguida agora, feliz novamente e espero ajudar o Atlético-MG daqui para frente – completou o atacante.

O “Le Monde” revelou que Giscard Samba, de 40 anos, foi acusado por uma jovem, que prefere manter o anonimato, em janeiro de 2017. Vale lembrar queSamba foi eleito melhor técnico em 2013 e treinou Dimitri Bascou, medalhista de bronze olímpico nos 110 metros barreiras em 2016.

A entidade confirmou que no dia 19 de março recebeu novos elementos sobre a denúncia envolvendo Giscard Samba.

Já Pascal Machat foi denunciado poragredir sexualmente a atleta Emma Dodiou, especialista de meia distância, no dia 26 de julho de 2014. Na época, Emma estava disputando a final dos 3000 metros obstáculos do Campeonato Mundial de juniores em Eugene, Estados Unidos.

A reprimand and a warning is the minimum penalty for a Level 1 violation.The two players admitted to the charges and accepted match referee David Jukes’ sanctions, thereby eliminating the need for a disciplinary hearing.
