Os dois gols, porém, não podem esconder a dificuldade que o Corinthians mais uma vez demonstrou para levar perigo ao adversário. O primeiro chute a gol aconteceu quase aos 42 minutos, com Pedrinho, no lance que originou o escanteio do gol de Manoel.

Mesmo com as mudanças, o Timão não conseguiu ter velocidade. Clayson caía pelos lados, mas pouco ajudava. Pedrinho também não esteve em uma noite inspirada. Sornoza parece ainda não ter se achado na equipe, embora já tenha dado quatro assistências no ano.

Com bons jogadores à disposição, Carille não encontrou a formação ideal para o Corinthians. No Majestoso deste domingo, pelo menos, viu sua equipe ser fatal novamente pelo alto e com Gustagol.

The PCB has admitted that the endorsement of Zaka Ashraf for next four years as chairman was processed through a “representation process” and not purely a democratic process, but said it complied with the ICC’s recommendations. According to the amended constitution, the chairman is still a nominated candidate, though one who is “endorsed” by ten elected members in the Board of Governors.In 2011, the ICC stipulated that its member boards become autonomous and free of interference from governments by June 2013. Removal of government interference had also been one of the Woolf report recommendations approved by the ICC.The PCB’s 2007 constitution was then amended to change the method of appointing the board’s chairman and alter the structure of its governing board. However, the process is still complicated, and the president of Pakistan, who is the patron of the PCB, retains a central role in appointing the chairman. Ashraf defended the transition as “fair and transparent to prevent a malicious candidate to step up to take the office”.”The new constitution complies with the recommendations made by the ICC and has been accepted, appreciated and welcomed by the ICC,” Ashraf told a press conference at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. “It has been a much-needed transition and a necessary step in ensuring the development and better administration of the game of cricket. The key features of the constitution were also discussed individually with the ICC president and CEO and it fulfills the requirements of parameters laid down by them. The PCB is fully compliant.”The PCB has been criticised in the past because its constitution allowed the chairman almost dictatorial powers. The amended constitution hasn’t changed that. The chairman can control and oversee income and expenditure in accordance with the budget approved by the board of governors. The major shortcoming in the new constitution is that the chairman has ultimate power with no recourse to remove him from the post in any circumstances. Also, the incumbent can be nominated for more than one term.”The new constitution entrusts the board of governors [BoG] with greater responsibility and the power to make regulations for the better governance of the PCB. Previously, most rules had to be approved by the federal government,” said Ashraf who insisted that “the constitution has been followed in letter and spirit and the PCB chairman has been appointed through the process defined in the constitution.”The restructured 14-member body includes five elected regional representatives picked on a rotation basis and five elected representatives of service organisations and departments who have the power of endorsement to the nominated chairman. The regions whose representatives accepted Ashraf’s nomination were: Peshawar, Islamabad, Larkana and Dera Murad Jamali while the fifth spot is yet to be filled. Punjab – which has 60% of Pakistan’s population – doesn’t have a representative in the BoG as Ashraf said the regions within Punjab hadn’t completed their own elections yet.The transition, however, was surprising and conducted secretly with the PCB revealing the appointment through a press release, citing it as an internal matter and not a public one. “This is a representative process, that’s why the word nominated as per process has been used (in the constitution),” explained the PCB solicitor, Taffazul Rizvi. “There are certain criteria which are defined in the constitution and the word democracy has a wide range. The PCB election is different from the way general elections are conducted.”It is understood that with the general election due on Saturday, a new government could bring in a change in PCB hierarchy. With his future as chairman uncertain, Ashraf implemented the new constitution and was eventually elected for a new term.”We had to implement the new constitution to meet the deadline given by ICC,” said Ashraf, to justify the abrupt move 72 hours before the general election in the country. “It was expected and we were already working on it from last many months. We didn’t want to delay it, we have to have the new constitution in place before June to satisfy the ICC requirement.”

بهذا الفوز يتربع فريق الجونة على عرش ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 69 نقطة، حصدها من 21 انتصار وست تعادلات بينما نال 3 هزائم.

وافق الدولي السنغالي إدوارد ميندي، حارس مرمى فريق كرة القدم الأول بنادي تشيلسي الإنجليزي، على عرض أهلي جدة السعودي للانتقال إليهم خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.

إدوارد ميندي ارتبط بالرحيل عن تشيلسي، بعدما فقد مكانه في التشكيل الأساسي خلال الموسم الماضي، لصالح الإسباني كيبا أريزابلاجا.

فابريزيو رومانو، الصحفي الإيطالي، أكد أن الحارس السنغالي، وافق على الشروط الشخصية مع نادي أهلي جدة السعودي، وسيوقع على عقد يمتد حتى 2026.

Ankeet Chavan, the Rajasthan Royals bowler who was arrested on allegations of spot-fixing, has been granted conditional bail till June 6 by a Delhi court. Chavan had sought bail on the grounds that his wedding was scheduled for June 2.Chavan had to deposit two sureties of Rs 1 lakh (US$1780) each and a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh with the court before he was released.”By denying the accused [bail] to solemnise marriage which is already fixed, not only he but also the would-be bride and other relatives would suffer for no fault of theirs,” the judge said.He was one of three Royals cricketers – Sreesanth and Ajit Chandila being the others – arrested on May 16, following which they were suspended by the BCCI pending an inquiry. Sreesanth has been remanded to judicial custody till June 4.Royals had suspended the contracts of all three players and also filed a police complaint against them. The players were allegedly promised money ranging from US$36,000 to 109,000 by bookies for each over of under-performance.Eleven bookies were also arrested along with the three players on May 16. One of the middlemen was identified as Jiju Janardhan, described by the police as Sreesanth’s close friend and team-mate at the Ernakulam club. Delhi Police had registered cases under the Indian Penal Code section 420 and 120B, which deal with fraud, cheating, and criminal conspiracy.

كشفت تقارير صحفية تركية، أن النادي الأهلي متصدر الدوري المصري في مرحلة متقدمة للغاية من أجل التعاقد مع مهاجم جديد في الميركاتو الصيفي المقبل.

ويبحث الأهلي منذ فترة عن مهاجم قوي قادر على قيادة الخط الأمامي بطلب من المدرب، مارسيل كولر، وعاد للاهتمام بضم مهاجم فناربخشة، مبوانا علي ساماتا.

هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي يهتم الأهلي فيها بضم ساماتا، حيث سبق واهتم بالصفقة في يناير الماضي، لكن اللاعب التنزاني الدولي كان معارًا لصفوف جينك في الدوري البلجيكي.

ولم يرغب جينك في التفريط في المهاجم في يناير تحت أي ظرف، نظرًا لأهميته بالنسبة للفريق البلجيكي، لكن الآن ساماتا عاد إلى فناربخشة مرة أخرى.

وبحسب شبكة “VOLE” التركية، فإن الأهلي يرغب في ضم ساماتا الذي لا يريد البقاء مع فناربخشة، ويرحب بالانتقال إلى بطل دوري أبطال إفريقيا 2023.

وأكدت الشبكة الشهيرة في تركية أن المفاوضات تتقدم بشكل إيجابي في الوقت الحالي، وإذا تمت سينتقل صاحب الـ 30 عامًا إلى الأهلي فور فتح سوق الانتقالات الصيفية في مصر.

الجدير بالذكر أن ساماتا ينتهي عقده مع فناربخشة في نهاية الموسم المقبل في 30 يونيو 2024، وقيمته التسويقية تبلغ 2.5 مليون يورو.

It was SNGPL’s first win of the tournament and snapped table-toppers PQA’s three-match winning streak.PQA won the toss and elected to bat, but were in all sorts of trouble after Samiullah Khan and Yasir Shah tore into the top order to reduce them to 29 for 6 at the halfway stage. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Salman tried to hold the innings together with his 24, but wickets continued to tumble at the other end. PQA were eventually dismissed for 72 off the penultimate ball of the innings. Yasir Shah took an impressive 3 for 11 off his four overs, and was ably supported by Samiullah Khan’s 2 for 4 off three overs, and Bilawal Bhatti’s 2 for 18.With a low score to chase, SNGPL started well with a 37-run partnership that ended any chance of a turnaround for PQA. Despite losing a few wickets, the batsmen were not troubled, as Taufeeq Umar anchored the innings with his unbeaten 45. SNGPL crossed the line in the 15th over to beat PQA by seven wickets.

أكد غنام محمد لاعب فيوتشر، أن فريقه كان يأمل في المشاركة بدوري أبطال إفريقيا هذا الموسم، موضحًا كواليس حواره مع روي فيتوريا المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر الأول لكرة القدم.

وتأكد مشاركة فيوتشر في بطولة كأس الكونفدرالية خلال نسختها القادمة، للمرة الثانية على التوالي، بعد أن حسم المركز الثالث في مسابقة الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وقال غنام محمد خلال تصريحاته عبر برنامج “جمهور التالتة”، المُذاع على قناة “أون تايم سبورت 2”: “بدأنا موسم جيد مع علي ماهر، ونؤدي مباريات جيدة كثيرة في الدوري، كنا نأمل في المشاركة بدوري أبطال إفريقيا، ونأمل أن نُحقق ذلك في الموسم المقبل”.

وأضاف: “روي فيتوريا المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر، قال لي إنني لاعب جيد وسأكون مستقبل للمنتخب، وطلب مني التركيز على أكثر من شيء، وأنني أستطيع أن أقدم الإضافة للمنتخب، وألعب ولا أهاب الأمر”.

واختتم: “فيوتشر قدم مباراة جيدة أمام الأهلي، أمس الأحد، واتفقنا قبل اللقاء على ضرورة تحقيق الفوز على المارد الأحمر، وحضرنا جيدًا للمباراة وسجلنا هدفًا وتم إلغائه بداعي التسلل، ولكنه كان هدفًا صحيحًا”.
