Aos 40 minutos, Anderson Oliveira recebeu passe no lado esquerdo do ataque e cruzou para Safira, em boa infiltração, dar um lindo toque de letra que deixou o arqueiro Denis sem tempo de reação.

The BCCI working committee has decided to suspend all bilateral tours to West Indies, in response to the visitors pulling out of their India tour. India were expected to play five series against West Indies in the next eight years, including four visits to the Caribbean.While a BCCI release made no specific mention of any claim for damages, the Indian board will also initiate legal proceedings against the West Indies Cricket Board.The board statement also did not mention any action against West Indies players who participate in the IPL. The players were unlikely to be suspended from participation in the league, with franchises backing them.The working committee meeting in Hyderabad was convened to discuss the aftermath of West Indies’ pullout. The members unanimously felt that strong action needed to be taken against WICB in order to prevent recurrence of such an event.A working committee member revealed that the BCCI’s legal cell said that the bilateral agreement “has been breached” and the BCCI has “every right to claim damages”. This, according to him, made the decision easy for the committee. Another member revealed that the claim amount and the jurisdiction will be decided by the legal cell.It is understood that during the informal discussions during the build-up to the meeting in Hyderabad, some members had suggested that the BCCI suspend ties with WICB for a specific period. However, the committee was convinced that the abrupt manner in which the tour was called off deserved the harshest possible punishment. As an insider revealed “the manner in which the WICB put its hands up” during the whole standoff with its players which led to the cancellation of the tour midway made the BCCI believe that the bilateral ties should be suspended “indefinitely”.”At the moment, it looks unlikely that the bilateral series would resume anytime soon. It will be up to the legal cell now to see if and when a settlement takes place,” revealed an insider.

Apesar de não esconder o desejo de um dia brilhar nos gramados da Europa, Pedrinho faz questão de demonstrar sua gratidão ao Corinthians. O meia-atacante chegou ao clube do Parque São Jorge no início da adolescência e está no elenco profissional desde 2017, quando fez parte do elenco que conquistou o Campeonato Brasileiro daquela temporada.

Hoje, Pedrinho vive seu melhor momento pelo Timão. Além de ser titular, é o principal construtor das jogadas ofensivas da equipe. As boas atuações lhe renderam a convocação para a Seleção Brasileira Olímpica, que venceu o Torneio de Toulon em junho deste ano.

-Todo jogador sonha em jogar um dia na Europa. Se eu ficar aqui no Corinthians, não tem problema algum. Sou apaixonado pelo Corinthians, pela torcida. Tento ao máximo retribuir o que o Corinthians e a torcida fazem por mim – finalizou o meia-atacante do Timão.

Sobre evolução pessoal
Sempre tive na minha cabeça isso. Venho trabalhando cada dia mais para ajudar o Corinthians. Esse tem sido um ano muito bom pra mim. Creio que tenho que estar sempre evoluindo, melhorando. Em relação às sondagens deixo na mão do meu empresário, estou focado no Corinthians.

Identificação com o clube e a rápida adaptação ao time profissional
Desde a categoria de base, o jogador já entende a importância de jogar no Corinthians. Na base, já tem muito acompanhamento da torcida. Eles vão em peso. Acho que por isso que a adaptação veio mais rápido. Os jogadores não chegam com medo, chegam com vontade de jogar. Não tem pressão porque estamos acostumados com a presença da torcida.

Importância da ida ao Torneio de Toulon
Alguns clubes não estavam liberando alguns jogadores e conversei com o Vital que seria importante irmos para o torneio. Fizemos um grande campeonato lá, fomos campeões com grandes atuações. Ajudou bastante. Foi crucial ter ido para a Seleção porque voltei bem para o Corinthians. Isso me deu mais confiança.

Críticas passadas de Carille e a atual relação com o treinador
Ele pode me criticar. Independente do que ele falou sempre coloquei na minha cabeça que sou capaz de jogar no Corinthians. Tentei colocar isso na minha cabeça, de evoluir cada dia mais. Venho tendo a confiança dele e tento dar o máximo aqui no Corinthians.

O baixo número de gols do Corinthians na temporada
Não é de hoje o estilo que o Corinthians. Muitas vezes isso acaba descompensando na parte ofensiva. Nós evoluímos depois da Copa América. Acho que é por conta do estilo de jogo do Corinthians. Isso vem do passado. Os números se baseiam nisso.

Possibilidade de Walter e Caíque jogarem
São dois grandes goleiros. O Caíque também é um goleiro espetacular. Temos segurança em todos. Temos o Walter e o Caíque que podem dar conta do recado tranquilamente. Temos confiança neles.

Empates contra Flamengo, Palmeiras e Internacional
Foram jogos diferentes. Contra o Flamengo tomamos um gol em um momento que estávamos bem. Poderíamos ter vencido aquele jogo. Contra o Palmeiras tomamos o gol no início do segundo tempo. É mais detalhe. Estamos sempre buscando a vitória, mas creio que tenha acontecido no detalhe. Isso acabou nos atrapalhando.

Melhora pós Copa América
O treinamento acaba nos ajudando bastante. O Carille falou que seria um tempo importante e ele cumpriu com a palavra dele. Quando a gente costuma vencer, a gente não quer perder isso. Não tem alguém egoísta. Todos querem crescer juntos.

Treino na Arena Corinthians
Pelo fato de ter muitos jogadores novos. Nem sempre eles têm muitos minutos. O campo do Corinthians é muito bom, muito rápido. Isso acaba prejudicando os mais novos. Eles pediram e a comissão técnica entendeu isso. Vamos fazer esse treino lá.

Importância da Arena Corinthians para o elenco
É um lugar espetacular para nós, principalmente pela torcida. Eles vibram mais quando a gente toma um gol do que quando a gente faz. Isso arrepia. É um fator a mais. Eles são um jogador a mais dentro de campo. Eles falam que são um torcida ‘que não para de lutar’. É uma torcida fiel. Temos que saber usufruir disso para conquistarmos os pontos dentro de casa.
