Hernanes já tem condições de reestrear pelo São Paulo. Nesta quinta-feira, o nome do jogador apareceu no Boletim Informativo Diário (BID) da CBF. Com a documentação regularizada, o meia que chega do Herbei Fortune da China poderia até encarar o Grêmio nesta segunda-feira, mas não deve jogar. Seria muito pouco tempo de treino até o embate.

Emprestado pelos chineses até julho de 2018, Hernanes desembarca no Brasil nesta sexta-feira. Ele chegará por volta das 16h30 no aeroporto de Cumbica, em Guarlhos, São Paulo. Na segunda, deve ir ao Morumbi ter o primeiro contato com a torcida no estádio, e ser apresentado durante a semana. Não há previsão para a estreia, mas ela não deve demorar, já que o jogador vinha mantendo a forma no clube chinês, apesar de não ser utilizado.

Pelo empréstimo de Hernanes, o São Paulo não pagará nada aos chineses, arcando apenas com R% 500 mil de salário. O jogador recebe cerca de R$ 2,4 milhões mensais, mas estava sem ter oportunidades no Herbei, que aceitou liberá-lo ao Tricolor.

Hernanes vestirá a camisa 15, com a qual foi campeão brasileiro em 2008, quando acabou sendo escolhido o melhor jogador da competição. Já disse que vem para jogar de meia-atacante. O técnico Dorival Júnior, ao ser perguntado sobre o reforço, fez pomposos elogios mas disse que vai esperar ele chegar para definir de que forma utilizá-lo.

There could be as many as seven changes from the midweek win over Slovenian champions NS Mura in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

In defence, club captain Hugo Lloris is expected to resume his duties as Nuno’s no.1 goalkeeper, replacing Pierluigi Gollini, whilst only Sergio Reguilon and Cristian Romero remain from Thursday night.

Joe Rodon did his chances no harm but Nuno may well opt for Eric Dier, who has started five of their six league games, instead. Elsewhere, summer signing Emerson Royal is preferred to academy gem Japhet Tanganga at right-back.

Another player who impressed during the week was Oliver Skipp and he’s likely to keep hold of his spot in the engine room, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg returning over Harry Winks.

Further up the pitch, a big call has to be made.

Does Nuno stick with Dele Alli? Does Tanguy Ndombele return? Or does Giovani Lo Celso keep his place after a goal and assist only a few days ago? We’re predicting the latter, meaning the Englishman is axed from the starting XI, whilst the Frenchman remains on the bench once again.

Son and Harry Kane are two obvious starters, though they will be joined by Lucas Moura rather than Bryan Gil in the final change.

The £18m-rated Brazilian, who Dier once claimed was a “nightmare” to train against, enjoyed a positive 30 minutes against Mura, registering a late assist so he is likely to get the nod over the young Spaniard, who is still getting to grips with the Premier League.

Batsmen the world over must be whispering to each other in hushed,worried tones. Word is spreading that Mitchell Johnson has found . The second top wicket-taker in Tests last year, Johnsonpicked up his 63 breakthroughs without the key weapon of swinging the ball in to right-handers. Observers wondered how good he could be if he ever mastered that skill. The world is about to find out.When he took the new ball in the first Test in Johannesburg, Johnson surprised the South Africans immediately with his newfound ability. Where once he had relied almost exclusively on his speed and bounce as the ball followed his natural angle, Johnson moved the ball in to NeilMcKenzie and then found an outside edge from the left-hander Graeme Smith to give Australia the perfect start to the series.”I don’t know if it was the first or second ball that swung back into McKenzie,” Johnson said. “My first two balls to Smith swung and obviously the second one got him. Being a left-armer bowling to a left-hander you’ve more chance of swinging it but it was actually really nice to see it swing back into the right-hander and swing back as much as it did.”It put a bit of a smile on my face when it came about. That game, against Australia in Sydney, earned New Zealand the displeasure of their captain Daniel Vettori at the way they chased 151 and lost by one run.Facing another below-par target here, McCullum was slower, hitting 56 off 49 balls. While there were some decent performances among the Lilywhites, Doherty came under some criticism from Gold.

Writing in his latest piece for football.london, the journalist claimed that the former Wolves man ‘struggled’ with his attacking endeavours down the flank and also with his passing at times, giving him a mere 5/10 overall rating, the lowest out of any THFC player.

The Verdict: Disappointing

Doherty has not really kicked on since signing from the Midlands, and the game gave him the perfect chance against lesser opposition to stake his claim in the first team.

The right-back lost out on four of his duels, and only managed to make one out of three accurate crosses in the match, while he also lost possession of the ball on no fewer than on 11 separate occasions, the fourth-most out of any of his teammates (Sofascore), worrying signs considering the level of opposition.

He needs to do much better if he is going to stand any chance of displacing Emerson Royal or Japhet Tanganga in Nuno’s preferred starting eleven.

Having failed to inspire with the bat in South’s previous match in his home city of Bangalore and picking up 1 in the first innings in Rajkot, Uthappa blasted 160 from 159 balls against a lacklustre North attack.When the day began, South’s lead was 376. North were 172 for 3, but without the services of key batsmen Virat Kohli and Rajat Bhatia, who were unable to bat due to injuries. The overnight pair of Sunny Sohal and Uday Kaul were not able to add much more to their stand, and was once Kaul was out for 40 there was little resistance from the rest. Sohal continued on to 94, scored from 99 balls, and the last two wickets fell with the total on 300.S Badrinath, South’s capain, did not enforce a follow-on and decided to bat again and South were given a brisk start. Abhinav Mukund (31 from 36 balls) helped add 58 in good time with Uthappa, and then Dinesh Karthik chipped in with 39 from 52 balls.
